Jesse R. Clark

Jesse primarily handles matters involving criminal defense, civil litigation, domestic relations, and juvenile custody matters.

Jesse is a lifetime Dayton native and graduate of Tippecanoe High School. Jesse attended the University of Toledo where he graduated with his Bachelors of Paralegal Studies in 2013. Jesse worked as a paralegal in Dayton from 2013 – 2021. In pursuit of advancing his legal career, Jesse took a risk and ended his career as a paralegal to become an attorney. He attended the University of Dayton School of Law where he graduated in only 2 years, earning a Juris Doctor in 2023; and becoming a first-generation attorney in his family.

During law school, Jesse competed in the Ohio Attorney General’s statewide Mock Trial Competition where he won a “best attorney” award. He also received a CALI Award of Excellence for achieving the highest score in his class in Mock Trial, Civil Clinic, and Criminal Advocacy.

In August 2023, Jesse joined Smith & Webb as an associate attorney. In his young career, he’s already gained valuable litigation experience, participating in multiple jury trials. Outside of work, Jesse is an avid sports fan and cares more about Ohio State Buckeyes football and the Cincinnati Reds than he wants to admit. He also loves golfing, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
